Pizzeria Mozza @ Marina Bay Sands

Calcio place mat!

Went to MBS to check out the YSL arty ring but they only had Turquoise in size 5 & 8. Attempted to squeeze my index finger into size 5 and almost couldn't remove it after... as Auntie Lucy would say, so embarrassing!!!

Since we were at MBS, we decided to try out another one of the celebrity chef restaurants. We arrived at Pizzeria Mozza at 5pm and it was packed as it was the weekend, but we managed to get seats at the bar.

Complimentary bread... chips? Lol idk but it was good! Nice to have something to snack on while waiting for the food we ordered to arrive.
Mozza Caprese ($19)

Mozza Caprese: slow-roasted vine tomatoes, creamy burrata cheese and bright hand pounded pesto. This salad looks great and tastes absolutely divine. Apparently the tomatoes are roasted for 4 hours till the skins begins to shrivel but the tomato itself remains plump. This tastes like heaven, never knew a tomato could taste so sweet and together with a mouthful of the creamy cheese and pesto, it was an orgasm for the taste buds.

Magherita Pizza ($24)

Ordered my favorite pizza: Magherita with mozzarella, tomato and basil. I felt it could do with a bit more mozzarella but still it was a good pizza, the crust especially was good, crisply charred on the outside but somehow it had a chewy bite on the inside.

Caramel Copetta ($15)

Caramel Copetta: Caramel gelato with marshmallow sauce and salted Spanish peanuts on top of a thin waffle crisp. Guh I'm in love with this dessert. The caramel gelato had a nice hint of burnt sugar that I love and the marshmallow sauce was basically melted marshmallows, yum!! What a wonderful way to end the meal.
