Morton's USDA Prime Burger

Had an early Mother's Day celebration at Morton's Bar, brought my mum to try the ~legendary~ $30 burger.

Being a el cheapo, I waited till after 8pm to go there since the burger is $5 cheaper then.

Some wasabi mayo thing and ketchup. As you can see, I was too lazy to move the thing over to take a pic lol.

After a 20 minute wait, I spotted the waitress carrying the burger over from the main restaurant!

And a glass of red wine since we were celebrating Mother's Day.

The beef patty was cooked to perfection, but the bun and fries were pretty average. Anyway, I think the giant, juicy beef patty makes up for the hefty price tag. It really is huuuuge. Frankly, I think we could have just ordered one and shared it between us.

Starbucks' Soy Strawberries & Cream Frappucino! A sweet treat minus the guilt (just the guilt of spending $8 on a drink).

Ok this is probably a no1curr post but I've had nothing to blog about the past 2 weeks but I really want to post something.

I'm really sad that the cowboys are out, they were my favorite team. I guess I'll be rooting for the Globetrotters and Gary & Mallory now.

Bought some coupons on Bigdeal.sg and went to have the Set Meal today.

Very nice setting for a girls' day oh yeeeah

Earl Grey Lavender Tea. The small snack that comes with it is great!

Ginger Spice Iced Tea. Highly recommend this. Perfect for cooling down on a hot day.

Tuscan Crispy Brioche Panini Turkey. Ordered this cos it has brie cheese in it mmmmm.

Viva La Fiesta Tortilla Duck Breast. The sour plum sauce goes very well with the tender duck breast.

Gelato for dessert. Lychee tea and durian.

Dessert tea! Pomelo tea with pear tea gelato! Me gusta.

Cocospoon. Vanilla steam milk with milk chocolate. Very comforting.

Very nice setting and delicious food. But the serving for the food was kinda pathetically small. Saw many reviews complaining about the service but I have no complaints at all. I really enjoyed sitting back on the couch and watching the clouds go by above but the food is seriously overpriced. The price of the tea was quite all right though so I would probably only return for the delicious ginger spice tea.

A charming little cafe with the adorable Peanuts characters. They only have outdoor seating but we were there in the evening so it wasn't too warm. The food was quite good but the prices were a bit high. But I suppose it could be due to the location. Since it's a themed cafe, I think they should make an effort to make the food more character themed. It seems like only the desserts have the characters on them. Maybe they should at least have the characters on the plates or something.

But the desserts are really cute.

Look at Woodstock being all smiley... almost couldn't bear to cut him up lol.
