Balenciaga Ultraviolet Mini Twiggy

The Purse Forum is a really evil place. I haven't visited the forum in a while, but for some reason I went back one day and the next thing I knew, I had my eye set on the new Ultraviolet Mini Twiggy.

I couldn't get it out of my mind, I had to have it. Went to the SG store but they didn't have stocks available and I actually had to order one directly from the George V boutique myself.

My dog just had to get in the shot. When I'm trying to take a photo of him, he shies away. When I'm trying to get a photo of other stuff...

Balenciaga Flat Clutch in Rose Bombon

Ordered this from HGBags last Sunday and it was delivered to my house while I was at work today. I was so excited when my mum called to let me know she had received it I couldn't wait to get off work lol.

Was supposed to be on a ban but I couldn't resist! I mean it was on sale and there was free shipping and everything, I would be a fool to let that opportunity pass right? RIGHT?  Right.

And I'm forever bitter that I didn't get the mini pompon in Grenadine the last time. Then Bal comes out with this pink coupled with the reintroduction of the gold hardware, it was love at first sight tbh.

It's actually the first time I'm buying something so expensive online sight unseen. I really should have gone over to the Balenciaga store to see the color in person before buying since all the pictures online of Rose Bombon online all look pretty different. Luckily, the color turned out to be the shade of pink I hoped it would be.

This is the last one, I swear. *shifty eyes*

Balenciaga Anthracite Rose Gold Giant Hardware Day

Can't believe I bought another Bal just four months after I got my first one, what's wrong with me?!

Part of my internal debate:

"Girl, no, you don't need another bag."

"But I don't have any nice bags that I can fit comfortably over my shoulder."

"You should just save the money for a vacation in December. I repeat, you don't need a new bag!!"

"But there's going to be a price hike next season, and I'm probably going to end up buying one anyway, might as well do it now? Amirite?"

"You promised yourself that the Giant City was going to be the last expensive bag you buy! And you barely use some of your bags as it is."

"Mmmhmmm"

"Really, the money would be better spe... Hey, put that credit card back in your wallet!"

So ya, after much deliberating, I finally decided to just go ahead and place an order with Balenciaga's London store. I was afraid to buy through mail order as you don't get to inspect the bag beforehand and make sure the leather is to your liking. And Bal's leather and colour saturation can vary a bit, even within a single season! But once I set my heart on something, it's like I can't do anything else until I finally get it so I was like fuck it and hit Send on the email containing my CC details.

I placed my order on Sunday and this was waiting for me when I got home from work on Thursday evening...

The SA gave me some perfume samples, sweet!
Oops why is this so bright?!

Gahhh I'm really happy with my purchase. Since they only had one of this bag with this colour and hardware, I didn't get to choose, but the SA assured me that it was from the draw and not a display piece.

And buying through mail order costs about the same as buying from the London store itself, even after adding shipping costs, and the bag comes to you in a box, I love it!

Pictures with my bag, will update with more :3

Coffee Stars by Dao

I've walked past this place quite a few times and have always wanted to try it out just cos it looks pretty. Finally got a chance to try it out last Saturday, I was feeling super tired after walking from 313 to Wisma lol, was still recovering from a fever ok, and needed a place to chillax.

Random pic of my Bal on the seat. First time carrying out, it's not as heavy as I thought it would be, yay!
Honey Lemon Tea for my sore throat.

It tasted horrible! It's like they accidentally added too much honey and decided to add extra lemon juice to make up for the mistake. Idk if it's supposed to taste like that, they didn't offer to change it when I complained about it, just added more hot water for me -_-

Oolong tea. Kinda meh.
Pandan coconut cake with fresh coconut. This was delicious! Also, according to the manager, they only serve a limited amount everyday.
Anyway I just read up a bit about this restaurant, apparently it is a very popular cafe/restaurant from Thailand. Although this experience was not too good, I'll definitely give this place another chance and return to try the Thai food next time.

Balenciaga Nuage Rose Gold Giant Hardware City

I had some money saved up for a trip to Europe this May, but now, due to certain circumstances, it probably has to be pushed to December. I was having a really rough week so I decided to reward myself and splurge on something nice :)

Behold:

I am in love with this colour! Nuage is French for cloud. I was deciding between the regular hardware and giant hardware. Regular hardware is lighter (and cheaper!), but the RGGH is so pretty, and it really compliments the blue.

I could probably have saved a couple hundred if I had ordered it online or through the European boutiques instead but I didn't want the hassle and totally needed the instant gratification of walking into the boutique and coming out with something new.
